• Guidelines for Poster Session
1. All submitting authors must present their work during the Poster Session to be held on December 3rd (17h05-18h05).
2. Each poster should be placed on the dashboard according to its identification number previously sent by e-mail. Moreover, the poster should be fixed from December 2nd 8h00-9h00 and may only stay throughout each poster presentation's day.
• Poster Format
Language: English
Title: Full title in capital letters and identical to the title of the abstract submitted. Letter 15-20 mm in height.
Author(s): Full name and affiliations
Introduction: Letter 5-6 mm in height.
Objectives: Letter 5-6 mm in height.
Material and Methods: Letter 5-6 mm in height.
Results: Letter 5-6 mm in height.
Poster size: 80 cm widh and 120 cm height.
• Guidelines for Short Oral Presentation
1. A list of the posters selected for Short Oral Presentation (5 minutes) (December 3rd , 16h15-17h05) will be available on the website and the authors will be notified by e-mail as from September 20th, 2013 . Please confirm your intention.
2. Presenters are requested to perform their presentation in 3 slides that may cover the following topics: Title, Objectives and Main Results. The slides must be written in English but authors can present either in Portuguese or English. Authors are only given 3 minutes to present their work and the slides must be sent in advance to the Committee (bwepidemiology@gmail.com) when properly requested. The remaining 2 minutes should be used for discussion.
3. The electronic projection equipment provided in each room will include a laptop equipped with Windows 7 and PowerPoint 2010. If made in another program or in an earlier PowerPoint version, please make sure that it is compatible with PowerPoint 2010.
